The Blackwater River gently flowing through Canaan Valley, West Virginia before plummeting 65' over Black Water Falls and ravaging through the Black Water Canyon.

Born and raised in Eastern West Virginia, Brian Simpson has always had a deep love for the outdoors. Lately, he has been channeling this passion into his hobby of photography. His photos capture the forests, wildlife, peaks and valleys of the Appalachian Mountains.
